The West Georgia Wolves Men’s basketball team kicks off their first regular-season game on Friday, November 8th at 7:30pm against Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
The wolves closed the season last year with a 17-12 record. The team also lost a few key players including guard, Aren Ulmer, and leading scorer Marquill Smith who recently signed with Sioux Falls Skyforce G-league team.
When impactful players leave teams to look for the next man up to step in into those roles left unmanned. Two of those players to watch are Junior Guard (#5) Oronte’ Anderson, a transfer from Gordon State, who was recently voted team Captain for the 2019-20 season along with returning Forward (#11) Karlos Odum.
General Admission for the game is $10. Guests can also receive free admission for all games in November with a donation of canned goods for our canned food drive. Admission for current West Georgia Students is free. Make sure to follow @thewolfsports on Instagram and Twitter for game content and updates throughout the season.
