We’ve all had those moments in college when we think, “Wow, I wish I had known about that sooner.” The truth is, campus offers so many services designed to make your life easier you just have to know where to find them. Here are a few of the most important resources you’ll likely need during your time at UWG:
1. Parking & Transportation Services
Parking on campus can feel like a sport of its own. To avoid stress, make sure you have your parking tag and luckily getting your tag is simple:
- Register your vehicle online at AIMS Parking by selecting Student and Faculty/Staff Registration.
- Log in with your OneLogin credentials and enter your vehicle information.
- Pick up your tag at the Momentum Center.
Trust me, it’s worth getting this done early.
2. Counseling Center
Life in college can be exciting, but also overwhelming. When things get tough, the Counseling Center is here to help.
Located in Row Hall, you can schedule an appointment by calling (678) 839-6428 or emailing counseling@westga.edu. After your initial session, they’ll match you with a counselor who best fits your needs.
- Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- After-hours crisis line: 678-839-6428 (Option 2)

3. Wolves Card Office
Your Wolves Card is basically your campus passport. It grants access to buildings after hours, the Campus Center gym, meal plans, sporting events, and more.
To get your card, head to the Momentum Center, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, and follow the signs to the Wolves Card desk. Don’t wait too long—this card quickly becomes one of your most-used items on campus.
4. Student Accounts & Billing Services
Questions about your bill? Need help figuring out payments? That’s where Student Accounts & Billing Services comes in.
Located in Aycock Hall, their office hours are:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Wednesday: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
They’ll walk you through everything from payment options to understanding your charges.
College is full of surprises, but managing basic things like parking, counseling, IDs, and billing doesn’t have to be one of them. Bookmark these services, and you’ll save yourself time and a few headaches down the road.
