Atlanta United has made a plethora of moves this offseason, and the team will look extremely different than it did in 2019. Firstly, this Atlanta United offseason has seen more change than any other, including the post-2018 MLS season that saw Miguel Almiron and Tata Martino leave the club. No one is really sure what manager Frank de Boer’s first-choice lineup will be and after an unconvincing preseason and this writer isn’t sure what to expect. As the season progresses and we learn more about these new players the picture will become more clear. For now, let’s just enjoy the show.
At first glance, it looks like Atlanta United hasn’t brought in enough players to replace those that have left, but Atlanta United has also brought up some younger players from the academy. Additionally, some expect Atlanta United to bring in two more players to fill out the roster.
