It’s That Time Again: Registration Week at UWG!

Hey Wolves! It’s that time of year again, registration season! Whether you’re mapping out your final semester before graduation or just starting to build your college experience, it’s time to grab those classes before they fill up. Don’t worry, we’ve got the rundown to help you stay ahead.

Registration opens up on Monday, October 27, kicking things off for Graduate students and Seniors. If that’s you, congratulations, you get first dibs! This is your chance to secure those high-demand classes and finish strong. Make sure your Degree Works and advising holds are cleared before your ticket opens so you don’t hit any last-minute roadblocks.

Next up, Juniors and Special Groups (like athletes and honors students) can start registering on Tuesday, October 28. Juniors, this is your time to start locking in those upper-level courses for your major. Trust, you’ll thank yourself later when you’re not scrambling for seats next semester.

Sophomores take the stage on Wednesday, October 29. You’re no longer the new kids on campus, and now you get to pick classes that fit your goals and interests. Think about adding a minor, an internship course, or maybe something outside your major that sparks your curiosity.

Finally, Freshmen, your turn arrives on Thursday, October 30. Don’t stress! Even though you’re last on the list, there are still plenty of great classes available. This is a perfect time to talk with your advisor, explore new electives, and start shaping your college path.

A few tips before registration opens:

  • Check BanWeb early. Make sure your time ticket is visible and there aren’t any holds on your account.
  • Meet with your advisor. They’ll help make sure you’re on track and that your schedule makes sense.
  • Plan backups. Some classes fill up fast, so have a few alternates ready just in case.
  • Set a reminder. When your date hits, log in early and register right away!

Registration week can feel hectic, but it’s also exciting and it’s one step closer to your goals. So mark your calendars, Wolves, and get ready to Go West and Go Register!
