Refunds

The WOLF News received several comments from students and even some WOLF staff about issues they experienced with academic refunds this semester. The WOLF News reached out to the UWG Bursar’s office who sent back this statement:

“Refunds have been processed as scheduled. The only way some students may not receive theirs until late October/early November is if they are ONLY in Session II courses, or if they have loans that are requiring them to be in at least 6 credit hours to receive the refund, and are currently in less than 6, but may be in 6 once Session II begins. Also, if the student has not set up a preference through their BankMobile account, they will receive a paper check sent to them in the mail, which can take significantly longer than if they had set up their preference.”

Additionally, The WOLF News spoke directly with Bursar Patresa Murphy who further confirmed 7,800 refunds had processed on or before September 6th.
